There are currently 850 million people starving on Earth, while food produced in the world would be sufficient for the entire population.
Studies are still one of the most serious global problems, which can be associated with millions of deaths in the world every year.
In Hungary, starvation mainly affects the Gypsies. In Hungary, more than three million Gypsies live more than 70% in extreme poverty below the subsistence level!
Through our program, we would like to donate quality non-perishable food and hygiene products to 5,000 families in Hungary every month.
Our program is continuous and regular!
Our food program lasts until December 20, 2025 and we continue it every year!
Every month we visit 5,000 disadvantaged families and provide them with non-perishable food donations to ensure their maintenance and daily livelihood!
Every month we inform everyone on our Facebook page where and when we will be distributing food donations!

Unfortunately, misery and starvation can be seen primarily in disadvantaged areas, disadvantaged settlements but also in the capital.
Food poverty has already been a serious problem in the country. However, rapidly growing food inflation already has unpredictable consequences! Over the past few years, the number of those who do not get enough and sufficient food in Hungary has doubled!
The poorest are the Gypsies, who are increasingly difficult to get to work in Hungary because of disadvantaged discrimination and racism.
The Roma population of Europe faces discrimination, humiliation and manifestations of hatred every day. This practice violates not only our values, but also the law!
Despite this, anti-Gypsyism has become accepted in many communities. The problem is further aggravated by irresponsible statements by some public figures and harsh stereotypes in the media. Make no mistake: this is indeed racism — yet in many cases it goes unpunished!
That is why we must seize all available tools to fight intolerance, poverty and social oppression!
In 2020, almost 3 million adults in Hungary affect food poverty.
The Roma Charity Service International Food Program would like to eliminate long -lasting poverty and starving in Hungary, so please support our international food program!
It would be difficult to quantify how much and what kind of disadvantages and suffering the Roma and the Roma community have to endure every day. Due to discrimination, Roma are not employed because of their origin and skin color, which leads to the development of poverty and, unfortunately, to regular hunger!
However, the damage caused goes beyond the direct consequences and those Roma who are specifically victims and sufferers of such abuses. Anti-Gypsyism in Hungary and hunger are closely linked!
Everyday life is not easy for young people growing up in such an environment. Through donations and
we must help families to have access to an adequate amount of food every day!
It is unacceptable that anyone in the 21st century should go hungry because of their origin and skin color!
We must never forget that these rights are human rights. The Roma do not have
“special” rights, but they also have the rights that all other communities
have. Everyone has a right to food and drink!
Together we must help our disadvantaged fellow human beings regardless of origin, nationality, religion and skin color!
